New year, new goals. Turning over a new leaf calls for an opportunity to set goals and start off with a clean slate.
The thing I love most about January is the opportunity for everyone to start over. Starting off with a clean slate. I used to be critical about those who declare resolutions at the beginning of the new year, but if it’s the only way to keep their hopes up, then who am I to judge them? It’s utterly hypocritical of me when I make resolutions for the new year myself, isn’t it?
Well, well, well. We are down to the last 30 days of the year. How is it possible that we were just gearing up for 2015, and here we are now, doing the same exact thing for the imminent year? My head hurts just thinking how time breezed past me without me even realizing it. I have an announcement of minimal importance to make at the end of this post, but before we get on that, let’s see how I did with my goals for November.
Everyone, welcome to my birth month! Has anyone guessed when my exact birthday is yet? I have an inkling that I’m sharing November as a birth month with a few of my favorite blogger friends. I wanted to share with you some common traits of those born in this month just for the heck of it, but I ended up amazed by how accurate the results were. I’ve seen lots of them in the grocery, and I may or may not have tried to check whether they’re real or not. Speaking of which, I tried the famous Starbucks fall flavor, Pumpkin Spice Frappucino, and I hated it. I don’t think I’ll ever want to try the PSL version because the aftertaste was just horrible. I’m sticking with my go-to White Chocolate Mocha for a hot beverage for life. Anyone else?
I couldn’t be any happier because the -ber months are here! When I think of September, the first things that come to mind are my parents’ birthdays. Christmastime comes next. This year, however, is going to be a little different because I’m actually looking forward to experience the fall season! Don’t get me started with all-things-fall because I can’t wait to bundle up in layers, wear boots, and sport darker lipstick shades. I get cold easily, but I feel like I’m made for the season.
The first week of August hangs at the very top of summer, the top of the
