I’m freezing. I’ve been feeling that way the entire day, thanks to the winter storm that hit San Diego this week. I couldn’t even type an entire sentence without rubbing my palms together to make them warm. Heck, I might even wear gloves if I couldn’t handle the cold anymore! This unusual weather reminds me so much of Christmastime. Oh, wait—Christmas Day is exactly a week from today!
I’m so behind rounding up my Instagram posts lately, so I’ve decided to skip some photos, which have already made their appearance here on the blog. I think it makes more sense that way, but whatever. I’m bringing you the 11th installment to my Insta Lately series today!
one. What’s fall/autumn in San Diego like? 60F weather. It’s cold, but not enough to wear some hoodie jacket, leggings, and flip-flops. I’m becoming more and more like a true Southern Californian. | two. I know I said I’ll stir clear from posting a photo that you’ve already seen here on the blog, but I’m just amazed by these NightSUPS! | three. Alongside traveling, discovering hidden gems in the city is one of our favorite things to do. If you ever find yourself in North Park, make sure you stop by the Backyard Café!
four. Just one of the many adorable furniture in Backyard Café! | five. I snapped this gorgeous sunset on a random Fri-date at La Jolla Cove that eventually led to a double date with my brother-in-law and his girlfriend at Dave & Buster’s. | six. Watching a flock of birds fly over your head on a gorgeous day at Torrey Pines State Beach.
seven. Another shot at Torrey Pines State Beach. Please excuse my bare toenails! | eight. String lights are so festive. I always associate them with the holidays! | nine. An early morning walk at Los Peñasquitos Canyon Trail at the beginning of December.
