It’s been almost a week since I got back from my trip to North Carolina, but I still feel exhausted. Roan had been wanting to book me a full body massage at a place nearby, but we’ve been busy catching up, especially since last weekend was our wedding anniversary weekend. Thankfully, my aunt sent me a gift eCard the other day, so I finally got my much-needed relaxation yesterday! In other news, I’ve been more active on Instagram lately, so the following photos are about a month old!
one. A very good friend of mine from grade school (we’ve been friends since we were 10) is getting married next Saturday, and she surprised me by sending a wedding invitation here to the US despite the fact that I couldn’t be there on her special day. She’s the best! | two. I have had the pleasure of working with Daily Greens, who sent me a pack of freshly-pressed juice for promotion. Roan and I shot this at Torrey Pines State Beach. | three. If you ever wonder what a veteran is, kindly refer to this reminder I found on the wall of the Veterans Affairs Office.
four. I’d been thinking of having some of my Instagram photos printed, but I didn’t find the time to research on where to do so. Fortunately, Artifact Uprising partnered with VSCO, so I was able to have 20+ photos from my Instagram feed printed for free! All I had to pay for was the shipping, which wasn’t so bad. | five. I wasn’t planning on posting some cheesy photo on my actual birthday, but when I got this bareMinerals birthday gift from Ulta, I couldn’t NOT post it! | six. This is the Nuestra Señora la Reina de la Libreria Ultima Los Angeles, which could mean the patron figure of The Last Bookstore in LA; however, I’m not so sure such exists.
seven. Just another #fromwhereistand photo while we were in LA. This was taken right after we had lunch with Jan and Ron at the Grand Central Market. | eight. Here’s the view of The Last Bookstore from the second floor. GIVE ME ALL OF THE BOOKS! | nine. I wrote a tribute for Roan on Veterans Day, which was exactly a month ago, and I didn’t realize how a lot of my readers had no idea Roan used to be in the US Army.
