Let’s all give ourselves a pat in the back for surviving January, the month of new beginnings and new chances for most people. We also deserve to commend ourselves for bouncing back from the festivities during the holidays. It’s not an easy feat for most people to get over the fact that work is waiting, and that some good things must come to an end. I digress. As per usual, let’s do a recap of sorts.
LAST MONTH’S GOALS IN RETROSPECT
Work on Travel Photo Diary
I started to actually work on this mid-January because of other prior commitments. It’s a lot of work going through hundreds of photos when you only need a few for each blog post. Add to that the efforts you put into editing and writing the corresponding story to go with the pictures. Good thing I took my journal with me on our trip; writing was made easier! Come up with Feasible Resolutions
As mentioned earlier, a lot of people are more hopeful during the month of January including myself. I
WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED
Get Back on Reading
One of my most neglected hobbies lately is reading. The last book I picked up was Insurgent by Veronica Roth in November, and I haven’t finished it since. I’m not even halfway through the book to this day! According to Goodreads, I read a total of 20 books last year. I challenge myself to read at least 30 books this 2015! I don’t know how I’m going to achieve this with my current reading status, but there’s plenty of time!
Resume with Closet Detox
I’ve read a lot of people who kicked off the new year by decluttering their closet. I think it’s time to get back on this since I can no longer make an excuse for not doing so! I’m glad I stumbled upon this cheat sheet a few months ago because who does NOT need one?
I have a couple of things lined up because SCATTERBRAIN is celebrating its 3rd anniversary this month! I’ve been pretty consistent and active in this little space a lot lately because I’m almost always at home. For this reason, it’s a little easier for me to plan ahead, and stay on top of my blogging duties.
