Coldplay: Every Teardrop is a Waterfall

If you’ve been following the band, you’d probably tell by the title of the post what this is all about. I know this is four months late, but going to Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams Tour in Pasadena last year was a dream come true for both Roan and myself! We didn’t have the best seats in the house (because expensive), but we (mostly I do) really enjoy going to live concerts, especially if I’m seeing one of my favorite artists!

I’ve been a fan of the band since they released “Yellow” in 2000, which a lot of Thomasians like myself eventually associated with our alma mater when the university used the song in their pyrotechnic display during the Quadricentennial Celebration. I feel overwhelmed with emotions every time I hear the song, so just imagine how it felt like when I witnessed Coldplay perform it live on stage!

Did I mention that Coldplay had Bishop Briggs and Alessia Cara open the show for them? They were both AMAZING! I didn’t post on my Snapchat stories because I know that most people find it annoying, but I did send a lot of blow-by-blow snaps to a grade school friend when Alessia Cara started to perform! I believe this was the same show that Globe Telecom, in partnership with MMI Live, provided free exclusive live stream to the Philippines, too!

I  may or may not have left out the part where one girl got drunk and wasted before the main act (read: when Coldplay stepped out), throwing up all over their seats (and those in front of them). In short, stupid girl ruined it for her the two friends she went to the concert with. #DISGUSTING

Anyway, I didn’t do much on these video clips except add a title to each song in case you needed to know. Enjoy watching! Oh, and have a blast if you’re going to see them live in Manila (or Singapore) this April!
